  • marketing, scientific and technological cooperation;
  • research, engineering activity;securing and accompaniment of the international projects and initiatives.
More details about activity of the University can be found in the illustrated booklet of the University in English.

unbf2 From October 8 till October 11, 2009 the “ Ukrainian-Germanic Business Forum” with participation of German businessmen was held in Kharkov in the frameworks of the Germanic science in Ukraine.
The exhibition of promising research projects of the enterprises, higher educational establishments and scientific research institutes of Kharkov Region took place in the frameworks of the Forum.
Proposals for cooperation between representatives of KNURE from the departments of REF, Informatics, CSoft, EC, TKS, AI, ICS, CDA were favored in the course of the joint seminar in October, 6.
Professor Herwig Unger represented FUN (Extramural University of Hagen) spoke in support of the proposal.
Lecturer Martin Royter spoke for DAAD with the information on the academic exchange for students, postgraduates, scientific officers.
In the course of the discussion an agreement was reached as to development of cooperation realized in the form of exchange of nonprofit information on the problems associated with the scientific research activity carried out by both sides, the problems of training experts and their exchange in the following directions:
  • Informatics
  • Program Engineering
  • Foundations of Radio Engineering
  • Telecommunications
  • Data Bases and Prediction

In 1999 the Center for Teaching Student in Foreign Languages (CTSFL) was found in KNURE, it carries out training in English in the following directions: computer engineering, economics and business, telecommunications. More than 200 foreign citizens take professional courses in CTSFL.
Teachers from 24 departments of the University take part in this project and the number increases constantly.
At present foreign citizens from more than 30 countries of the Near East, Asian-Pacific Region, Africa are educated at the University.
The work with foreign citizens is coordinated by the Department of International Cooperation, Foreign Relations and Marketing (DICFRM) headed by Petrov S.I. CTSFL, which carries out training experts in English, is headed by Cand. Eng.Sci. Prof. Gorbachev V.A.
Detailed information about training carried out in English can be found on the following site: http://english.kture.kharkov.ua.

Simultaneously with training of foreign students the University realizes a number of programs of foreign cooperation with some leading educational and scientific centers in Western Europe and the USA. With the financial support of EU (Tempus/Tacis) the project directed to perfection of the Masters’ training quality was realized at the University. In the frameworks of the grant, assigned by the State Department of the USA, cooperation with the National Center of the USA develops intensively in the field of training experts in microelectronics. Moreover, a number of projects and international programs, directed to scientific exchange, are being realized successfully with the universities of Oxford (Great Britain), Karlsruhe (Germany), Montpelier (France), Uvyaskulya (Finland), Belgrade (Yugoslavia) etc.

Together with “Aldec” (USA) company the University trains experts in the field of information technologies, hereinafter these experts successfully adapt to industry.

A number of scientific research laboratories is created, functions at KNURE and actively participate in the international cooperation. Among them there are:

Laboratory for Analytical Optochemotronics
Research supervisor of the Laboratory
Prof. Dr. Eng. Sc. Rozhitsy N.N.
Tel. + 38(057) 702 03 69

Scientific and research interests of the Laboratory for Analytical Optochemotronics are in the field of electrochemi-, chemi- and electrochemiluminiscence and are associated investigations of the surfaces, development of sensors and microanalytical systems. The Laboratory uses Langmure-Blogette technology and microtechnologies for creation of sensors and microfluid analytical systems for biological purpose and ecological application.
A great number of works (about 350 titles) were published based on the results of scientific activity and developments, more than 40 certificates of authorship and patents were received, 3 monographs were published, more than 150 reports were delivered at scientific conferences of different levels. 2 theses for Doctor’s degree (A.I. Bykh, 1990; N.N. Rozhitsky, 1998) and 9 theses for Candidate’s degree were successfully defended, several tens of Masters and Engineers in electronics were prepared by the employees of the Laboratory.

Scientific Educational and Research Laboratory
“Mathematical and Computer Modeling”

Research supervisor of the Laboratory

Mathematical and Computer Modeling (MCM) Laboratory was founded in 1999and since then the personnel of the Laboratory is not changed: there are three regular scientific researchers and several senior students and postgraduates who combine scientific work with education at the University.
Scientific investigations of the Laboratory refer to the field of the applied mathematics and numerical modeling and include the following scientific directions:
  • Modeling of complex physical-chemical and biochemical processes in micro and nanometric systems.
  • Solution of physical problems using the apparatus of mathematical physics and variational methods.
  • Numerical simulation of oscillating homogeneous chemical reactions.

Laboratory for Internet Technologies
Head of the Laboratory
Cand. Eng. Sc. PetrichenkoA.V.
14, Lenin Ave., room 253

The laboratory is engaged in researches and carries out practical developments in the field of Internet technologies, Web-based information systems and Internet-projects management.
The priority platform for the work is Sun Java 2 Enterprise Edition.
At present the Laboratory has 10 working places fully equipped with the most up-to-date Internet connected computer equipment. There is an extensive library corresponding to the profile of the Laboratory.
Since October,2003 the Laboratory has become the base for lectures, labs and self preparation of students being educated in the framework of the Agreement on Cooperation between KNURE, Germanic company VData Software-Entwiklung GmbH and Ukrainian-Germanic Ltd. “ ProfITsoft”.
The motto of the cooperation program is – United together to start your future now. It is representative of its main idea, i.e. to join the scientific potential of the University of Radio Electronics and investments of companies to give the possibility to the talented students not to wait graduation of the University but to start own future just now!
