To organize the educational work the complete infrastructure was created
in KNURE. The general educational problems arising before the educators of different levels are as
follows: comprehensive investigation and analysis of the student’s personality formation conditions
in the context of humanitarization of the higher engineering education, investigation and analysis
of the socio-economical and psychological-pedagogical factors of market relations actions on
training experts, their capability for independent thinking nonstandard decision-making.
Educational aim, problems and principles are reflected in the students
education directions. Among them there are:

At the University there were created:
а) socio-psychological service (individual consultations and psychological

b) chess-draughts club “Shakhrad” (Director – Kiktev G.S., Honorary

в) Stands “Code of Teachers Honor of KNURE”, “Code of Students Honor of
KNURE”, “Veterans of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”;
c) everybody who goes upstairs of the main building can feel himself in
the pantheon of science – colorful portraits of outstanding scientists of the world contribute to
this;
d) in the Rector’s wing of the main building there is a gallery of
colorful portraits of the former rectors of KNURE who worked at our educational establishment
during 75 years of its existence;
е) since March, 2004 the students Senate functions in KNURE;
f) video film “In the Battles for Kharkov” about participation in the
defense of Motherland of the veterans, who previously worked and still are working at KNURE.
